The Most Important Command

We all have more or less the same needs and desires. We’re one. But as it turns, each of us takes a different path, and each of those paths contains experiences that can disturb us, our soul, and our ability to love.

We then risk becoming zombies, running around in loops like cars on a roundabout, endlessly chasing the next carrot.

I think one of our main goals in life is to continuously find our way back to who we really are: loving beings.

A friend recently joked about having to use the term “human-centric”, when just a few years ago everything was human-centric 🙂 With AI entering more areas of our lives, that joke feels more true every day.

Christ gives us a simple command:

John 15:14: You are my friends if you do what I command.

John 15:17: This is my command: Love each other.

John 15:18: If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.

In this new era, I think it’s more important than ever to become aware of these loops, go beyond our needs and desires, and transcend them through love.
